Castell d'Encús was born in 2001, when Raúl Bobet (current winemaker of the winery) was looking for land that could reduce the effects of climate change in the vineyards, then met Talarn. They have planted 23 ha in high density of different grape varieties in extraordinary conditions to create high quality wines. Thanks to its medieval environment, a large part of the wines ferment in stone winepress, own of the winery.
