Sparkling wines

What’s the first thing that comes to our mind when we talk about sparkling wines? Cheers, cheers! Yes, that’s it, cheering is the most common action when we have a bottle of sparkling wine in our hands.

When we have to cheer, all of the sparkling wines make their function but what we really want is that you can enjoy the selection of the best sparkling wines that LaVinateria has.

How do we classify sparkling wines?

There are several ways to do it, through their denomination: D.O. Cava, A.O.C. Champagne, Corpinnat, Cava de Paratge Qualificat, Clàssic Penedès, etc. We also can classify them by their type: Brut, Brut Nature, Barrel, Rosé, Sweet or Medium Dry. In addition, these ones can be classified by their age: Young, Reserva, Gran Reserva or Large Crianza.

The Cava selection of La Vinateria

Nowadays, Cava can be drunk with any meal because wineries are working to get a reduction of sugars and this makes so many different savour varieties. At LaVinateria you have a chance to enjoy an amazing value for money for a great Cava selection that pairs well with any dish you’d like to cook. We have Gramona, Juvé i Camps, Mas Codina, Recaredo, Mastinell, Carles Andreu… All of them use different grape types, but the most common are Xarel·lo, Parellada, Chardonnay and Malvasia. To get Rosé Cava, they use Trepat, Pinot Noir, Monastrell and Garnatxa. Champagne is made of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

The best Champagnes

To make it harder to choose we have so many high quality French Champagnes. All of them are world renowned like Dom Perignon, Laurent Perrier or Louis Roederer. We have it all. The best sparkling wines, Cava and Champagne at the best price. It’s important to know that the traditional method of Cava production was extracted from the Champagne creators where alcohol must be subdued to take two fermentations: the first one, to preserve its characteristics, savour and smell. The second, to get carbonic gas and make it spark.

How to choose the best sparkling wine?

Our online shop, LaVinateria, was created to make it easier for all of you. You can filter by zone, typology, grape type, elaboration, aging or so many others. We do our best so that from home you are able to enjoy what you mostly like.
