In the Muscadet Sèvre et Maine appellation, Domaines Landron obtained land to convert it into a family vineyard operation, until today under the direction of Joseph (Jo) Landron, the winery has constantly evolved, embracing sustainable practices and a philosophy focused on terroir The history of Domaines Landron is marked by a transition towards organic and biodynamic viticulture. After their vines were poisoned by herbicides, the Landron family decided to abandon chemicals and begin converting to organic viticulture, obtaining certification in 2002. Later, in 2011, the winery received biodynamic certification, consolidating its commitment to production of quality and environmentally friendly wines. The uniqueness of Domaines Landron is reflected in its approach to terroir. The diversity of the estate's subsoils inspired a new orientation towards plot-based winemaking, fermenting the must from each plot separately to highlight the unique characteristics of each terroir. The winery offers a variety of wines that faithfully represent the expression of its terroir. Ranges such as "terroir d'Amphibolite", "terroir de grès sur argile sur les Houx" and "terroir d'Orthogneiss et quartz sur le Fief du Breil et le Clos la Carizière" highlight the specific geological characteristics of each plot, showing the diversity and richness of the soil in each bottle.
