Since 1764 they produced wines on their property, but only for family consumption. Starting in 1948, the companies Oliveda and Rigau Ros came together to found a company dedicated to the production and marketing of Oliveda wines and cavas. In 1995, with the obtaining of two Gold Medals in Madrid, they were placed among "The One Hundred Best Wines of Spain". They have vineyards in Vilamaniscle, Garriguella and Capmany where they introduce new grape varieties such as Merlot, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon that consolidate and improve the native ones such as Garnacha and Cariñena. From the beginning, the philosophy of the work of the Oliveda Family has been to produce quality wines and cavas through traditional production methods and modern technology that allow strict quality control and research.
