Wines that feature the Forcada grape especially benefit from the clay-calcareous soils of the Penedès. Its cultivation at higher altitudes, specifically at 550 meters in Alts d'Ancosa, far from marine influence, enhances its aromatic intensity and the freshness that is generally associated with higher altitudes.
The production of these wines is a meticulous art. After a selective harvest, often early due to climatic conditions, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. There, in intimate contact with its lees, the wine rests, preserving and enhancing its distinctive character.
