    The D.O.P. Abadía Retuerta is located in the Duero Valley, a world-renowned wine region. The 700 hectares of the estate are distributed in this privileged area, with 180 hectares dedicated exclusively to vineyards. The vineyards are located in 54 plots, each with unique soil and microclimate characteristics that contribute to the diversity and quality of the wines produced in the region.

  • What varieties does the Abadía Retuerta DOP grow?

    Abadía Retuerta grows a selection of grape varieties carefully chosen to reflect the diversity and uniqueness of its terroir. The main variety is Tempranillo, which represents 70% of the estate's vineyards. In addition, Syrah (10%), Cabernet Sauvignon (10%), Merlot, Petit Verdot and some white varieties are grown. This combination of varieties, together with the influence of the soil and climate, allows us to produce white wines of great complexity and distinctive character.
