Ardbeg Ten Years Old is a single malt whiskey from the Islay region of Scotland, revered around the world as the peaciest, smokiest and most complex single malt of all. He doesn't flaunt the mob though; rather it gives way to the natural sweetness of the malt to produce a perfectly balanced whiskey.
The Islay region is one of the most distinctive and famous areas of whiskey production in Scotland. Islay is one of the largest islands in this archipelago and is known to be a major production center for Scotch whisky, especially malt whiskey with distinctive flavors and characteristics. - Ardbeg Distillery Limited

Tast note
Pale yellow.
On the nose it contains aromas of lemon-infused peat and waxy dark chocolate. Also with aromas of heather and hay, accompanied by a touch of menthol.
On the palate it presents an effervescence of peat with lemon juice and spicy lime, and popsicles of black pepper with cinnamon-spiced toffee.
Then comes a wave of brine infused with smooth buttermilk, ripe bananas, and currants. The smoke gradually builds on the palate and brings a mouthful of warm, creamy cappuccino and toasted marshmallows.
As the flavor lengthens and deepens, the dry espresso, licorice root and tarry smoke, unfold coating the palate with chewy peaty oils.
