The Balvenie 12-year "DoubleWood" is a single malt whiskey from the Speyside region, Scotland, aged in two types of barrels; bourbon and sherry barrels.
Gold Medal in the 2002 International Wine and Spirits Competition.
The Speyside region is mainly known for being one of the main centers of whiskey production in the country. It is famous for being home to a large concentration of single malt Scotch whiskey distilleries, many of which are known throughout the world. - Distillery Banffshire

Tast note
On the nose it has a rich and complete aroma with a hint of cinnamon.
On the palate with a soft combination of the sweetness of the nuts and the aroma of cinnamon.
In the end, round with hints of honey.
