Hondarrabi Zuri is a white grape variety native to the Basque Country, in northern Spain, and is mainly used to produce dry white wines in the Getaria wine region, located on the coast of the Bay of Biscay.
White wines made from the Hondarrabi Zuri grape are usually light and fresh, with bright acidity and aromas of citrus, apple and pear. They have a moderate alcohol content, typically in the 11-12% range, and are characterized by their natural effervescence, as many of them are made using the traditional method of bottle fermentation.
